Sullivan was married to Nancy Toffoloni popularly known as ‘Woman’, an American professional wrestling manager, and model in 1985. Toffoloni, who was once a wife, later got married to Chris Benoit in the year 2000. Since the separation in 1997, Sullivan started hook-ups with another lady called LA Taylor (Linda Sullivan).
Together, Taylor and Sullivan co-authored the “Old School: Favorite Sons” and “Ring Squared” series, which tells the story of the formation of the wrestling industry by providing a fan fiction look at the effect of television and territories. Sullivan participated in episode 2022 of the show Judge Steve Harvey with another guest, J. J. Dillon, a wrestler and a manager.
