Ralph J., 65 years of age was a dedicated uncle, brother-in-law, and friend to many, cherished son of the late Ralph and Marian Jamieson, husband of Eileen Jamieson (nee Morgan) for 43 years, and beloved father of Nancy, Pat (Kristen), Kelly O’Connor (Tim), and Matt (Ali). Adoring grandfather of Maeve, Ellie, Bridey, Charlie, Libby, Finn, Grace, and Hannah.

Cleveland Heights is where Ralph, also referred to as Jamie, was born. He made a lot of friends that would last a lifetime while attending Cathedral Latin and St. Margaret Mary. His first and only love of 50 years, Eileen, became his bride and his greatest joy—quite an accomplishment for a 65-year-old!
father, grandfather, brother, spouse, friend, and coach. He was a Pipefitters Local 120 member, an Irishman, and an accomplished dancer.

When it came to jokes, clumsy birthday cards, and emotional tears, Ralph was always the first to break into a smile. Ralph made a special effort to make everyone feel close to him. He taught his kids the value of humility, hard work, family, and religion. His grandchildren inherited his love of all things goofy and his unshakable commitment to them.

A happy life came to a close as Ralph spent his final week on the beach with his cherished wife, children, and grandchildren. The family would prefer donations to The Orange Effect Foundation in Ralph’s honor in place of flowers. You can donate to the Orange Effect Foundation online at https://secure.givelively.org/donate/orange-effect-foundation or at 17040 Amber Dr., Cleveland, OH 44111.

Funeral Mass will be held at St. Paschal Baylon Church on Saturday, August 24, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. Place of Burial: All Souls Cemetery. Friends and relatives are welcome to visit the family on Friday, August 23 from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Schulte & Mahon-Murphey Funeral Home, 5252 Mayfieeld Road, Lyndhurst (between Richmond and Brainard).
