Elderly Couple and Their Dog Missing in California; Police Seek Public’s Help
The Redlands Police Department is seeking the public’s help in locating an elderly couple, Stephanie Menard, 73, and Daniel Menard, 79, who have been missing since Saturday, August 24, along with their beloved dog, Cuddles. The couple was last seen at their San Bernardino County residence on Keissel Road at approximately 10 a.m. on the day of their disappearance.
Concern for the Menards‘ safety arose on Sunday, August 25, when a neighbor noticed they were not following their usual routine of getting ready for church. The neighbor, worried by their absence, entered their home to check on them but found the house empty. In a report to KCBS-TV, Sandy Marinelli, a close friend of the couple, revealed that several personal items, including Stephanie’s purse and cane, were left behind, and both the television and computer were still on, making their sudden disappearance even more alarming.
The Redlands Police Department issued an advisory notice on Facebook on Tuesday, August 27, asking the community for any information that might lead to the couple’s whereabouts. The circumstances surrounding their disappearance remain unclear, and the police are treating the situation with urgency, hoping for a swift resolution.
Anyone with information regarding the Menards’ whereabouts is urged to contact the Redlands Police Department. Their disappearance has left their friends and neighbors deeply concerned, and the community is rallying together in hopes of bringing Stephanie, Daniel, and Cuddles home safely.
