After being accused of sexual crime, Taeil has been unfollowed by NCT and NCT 127 on social media
Taeil’s social media accounts on NCT and NCT 127 have been unfollowed after he left the groups. Moreover, the K-pop idol has been deleted from the Instagram accounts of former bandmates Taeyong, Doyoung, and Haechan. In an official announcement, SM Entertainment revealed on August 28, 2024, that Taeil is facing charges in a criminal case pertaining to sexual misconduct. The business decided that Taeil could no longer be a member of the team after obtaining the necessary information and realizing the seriousness of the problem.
After talking with Taeil, he has made the decision to quit the group. The K-pop celebrity has been completely compliant with the current police inquiry, and more remarks will be made as the investigation develops. Deepest apologies were also offered by the corporation for any offense their artist may have caused.
The NCT leader Taeyong, who is presently serving in the military, has removed every group photo in which Taeil is featured. In addition, the artist’s Instagram following has decreased to nothing and he no longer follows anyone. In a similar vein, Doyoung eliminated Taeil and everyone else off his list of followers. Hacechan has also stopped following the former member of the group.
Taeil joined NCT 127 as a permanent member after making his debut as a K-pop idol there. NCT 127, who were formed by SM Entertainment, released their mini-album NCT #127 as their official release. Taeyong, Yuta, Jaehyun, Mark, Haechan, Doyoung, Jungwoo, and Johnny are the group’s current members. Cherry Bomb, Kick It, Sticker, and other songs are among the group’s most well-known hits.
In 2023, the band released the music video for the album’s title tune along with their fifth studio album, Fact Check. They also embarked on Neo City – The Unity, their third globe tour, that same year, visiting numerous Asian cities.
