The tragic death of Southern artist Julio Foolio was caught on camera, with the footage now officially released. On Wednesday, July 3, TMZ shared surveillance video showing Foolio being ambushed at a Holiday Inn in Tampa. The video captures a masked man approaching Foolio’s car and opening fire with what appears to be a semi-automatic rifle at around 4 AM EST on June 23.

As Foolio tried to escape, his car hit a curb, which led to further shots being fired by another shooter positioned at a distance. Sadly, Foolio lost his life in the attack, while three other passengers in the vehicle survived with non-life-threatening injuries. The attackers managed to flee the scene.

According to WFLA, Tampa law enforcement confirmed the shooting occurred at 4 AM and revealed that two vehicles were involved in the attack that resulted in Foolio’s death.
