Eventually, the stolen van lost control after slamming into a curb at a fast speed, according to the complaint. Police claimed it then hit a second curb, struck with a tree & went airborne. According to officials, the van impacted another unoccupied car while in the air. Kelly allegedly tried to exit through the driver’s side door yet was thwarted by a patrol car, which he destroyed in the process. Authorities stated Kelly then fled by climbing over the center console, exiting through the passenger door.
