A Florida couple were arrested after a child was allegedly seen running in the street nude and “covered” in excrement

FLORIDA: Authorities reported that Danielle Roberson, 34, and Jacob Roberson, 32, are accused of five counts of child neglect. Authorities claim that a Florida mother and father’s two children were observed roaming around in public while nude and covered in human feces. As a result, the couple faces charges of child negligence.

In a statement posted on Facebook, deputies from the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office stated that they saw the first youngster running through traffic in Wright, Florida, on September 8 at about nine in the morning. The youngster was claimed to be nude and covered with excrement when they got him to safety.

After bringing the youngster to a house close to Fort Walton Beach, where they saw another naked boy running around, the authorities claimed to have identified the boy. The sheriff’s staff claimed that the second child had excrement all over his body. According to the statement released by the authorities, “OCSO Deputies and an investigator found deplorable conditions throughout the residence, as well as prescription medications within reach of a total of five children, all under the age of 12.”

The parents of the accused incident, Danielle Roberson, 34, and Jacob Roberson, 32, were eventually taken into custody. Authorities said that both have been charged with five counts of child neglect; it is unknown if they have entered pleas or hired counsel to represent them. The Department of Children and Families is helping with the investigation, according to the sheriff’s office. It’s unknown what the children’s situation is.
