All About The Incident

Terry Brown was last seen in Union Mills in August, at which point the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office received a missing person complaint. After Brown’s bones were discovered buried on a nearby home’s property, deputies said that the initial investigation into his disappearance had evolved into a possible murder probe. How Brown passed away was not disclosed by the sheriff’s office.

Suspect Of Terry Brown’s Murder

The sheriff’s office announced on September 5 that Jerry Martin, also known as Doodle, has been named as the main suspect in Brown’s death. Martin was given a first-degree murder warrant by the authorities, who also urged anyone with knowledge of his location to come forward. On September 7, authorities announced that Martin had turned himself in to the Rutherford County Detention Center due to pending murder warrants. On September 9, Martin will appear before a district court judge for the first time.
