Husband Killed His Five Months Pregnant Wife And Attacked Their Two Daughters

New York: A couple from upstate New York was arrested two days after Labor Day on suspicion of stabbing his pregnant wife to death and assaulting their small girls at their house. Following his arrest, the couple was charged with second-degree murder as well as attempted murder.

Domestic Dispute

According to New York State Police, on September 4, during a reported domestic conflict at a home on Houck Road in Masonville, 32-year-old Drew Garnier, who is being held without bond in Delaware County, fatally stabbed 29-year-old Samantha Garnier, who was five months pregnant, and wounded their 9- and 6-year-old daughters; the children have survived.

Suspect Is Arrested

Drew Garnier was detained at the scene of the crime after surrendering, and he was taken to a hospital for medical attention for superficial wounds. Cops have yet to reveal a possible motive for the shocking alleged attack, other than that there was a dispute among Long Island natives, and authorities have not responded to questions about what the suspect or victim might have said after police arrived on the scene.

They can be seen in numerous pictures with their two small girls, who Drew Garnier is also charged with stabbing. It is anticipated that they will fully recover. Family from out of town has come to take care of the two girls. Samantha Garnier was expecting another girl in February, according to a GoFundMe page set up to support her 6- and 9-year-old daughters. She was slain two weeks before turning 30.

Criminal Charges On Suspect

Drew Garnier is facing felony gun charges alongside to the murder as well as attempted murder charges, which carry a maximum sentence of 25 years to life in prison if found guilty. One of the charges is that he may have owned an AK-47. He entered a not guilty plea.
