Multiple Allegations Against Former Pediatrics Worker

Angel Nunez, 25, who worked at several Little Spurs Pediatrics offices across Fort Worth, Irving, Grand Prairie, and Arlington, is facing serious allegations of misconduct during his tenure from August 2023 to August 2024. The Irving Police Department first became aware of the claims in late August when a report surfaced about potential abuse at the Little Spurs Pediatrics location in Irving. Following an investigation, authorities uncovered that Nunez had engaged in inappropriate sexual contact with multiple juvenile patients on separate occasions.

Unaware Victims During Medical Exams

According to the police, the children believed they were undergoing routine medical exams and were not aware that they were being abused at the time. The acts allegedly took place during scheduled visits to the pediatric practice, and it is unclear how many victims have come forward or have been identified in the ongoing investigation. Nunez was arrested on September 5, 2024, on charges of indecency with a child. He was released from the Dallas County Jail on a $100,000 bond just two days later, on September 7. The investigation continues as authorities gather more information about the extent of his actions and the number of affected victims.

Community Support and Investigations

Little Spurs Pediatrics has cooperated fully with the police investigation, according to the Irving Police Department. The practice, which operates multiple offices in the region, has assisted law enforcement in identifying any further instances of abuse. The staff and management are working closely with the authorities to ensure the safety of their young patients and to address any concerns from the families they serve.

Investigators are urging the community to come forward if they have interacted with Nunez or suspect that their children may have been affected. The police have advised parents to speak with their children, family members, and friends to determine if they might be victims of the alleged abuse. Ongoing Investigation and Public Concerns

As the investigation into Nunez’s actions continues, public concern over the safety of children in medical settings has grown. The case has raised awareness about the potential for abuse in seemingly safe environments like pediatric practices. Authorities are working diligently to ensure that justice is served for the victims and that similar incidents are prevented in the future.
