Broncos’ Tyler Badie Carted Off After Injury in Game Against Jets, Ruled Out with Back Injury

Denver Broncos running back Tyler Badie was carted off the field during Sunday’s game against the New York Jets. According to Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk, Badie had “movement in all extremities” following the incident.

Josh Alper of Pro Football Talk reported that Badie lost a fumble after a hard hit from Jets linebacker Quincy Williams and received medical attention on the sidelines. While he initially walked off the field on his own, he was later placed on a backboard and carted away after further medical evaluation.

Mike Garafolo of NFL Network confirmed that Badie was ruled out for the remainder of the game with a back injury. Denver, already short-handed at the running back position with rookies Blake Watson and Audric Estime unavailable, was left with only Javonte Williams and Jaleel McLaughlin after Badie’s exit.

Badie, a sixth-round pick in 2022, had appeared in just one game prior to the 2024 season but played in two of Denver’s first three games this year. He entered Sunday’s game with 86 rushing yards on 10 carries.
