Julie Sulpizio Is Accused Of Ambush Shooting Of Lake, And The State Seeks Her Execution
Florida: Prosecutors in Florida plan to apply for the death penalty for Julie Sulpizio, the woman charged with organizing a doomsday style ambush with religious support that resulted in the shooting death of a Lake County deputy and the injuries of two others. The Fifth Judicial Circuit of the State of Florida received the prosecution’s decision on Tuesday.
5 Circumstances For Death Penalty
Prosecutors listed five aggravating circumstances in their submission that call for the death penalty to be considered. It is purported that Julie Sulpizio was found guilty of a capital offense or a prior offense involving the use or threat of violence. Julia Sulpizio intentionally put many people at serious risk of death. The capital offense was committed in order to obstruct or interfere with any legitimate government activity or legal law enforcement. The capital offense was homicide, which was carried out with no legal or moral pretext and in a cold, planned, and planned manner. A law enforcement officer carrying out their official duty was the victim of the capital offense.
Assassination In Killing Of Lake County
One count of premeditated murder in the killing of Lake County Master Deputy Bradley Link, 28, and one count of attempted murder in the shooting deaths of Master Deputy Sheriff Harold Howell and Deputy First Class Stefano Gargano led to Sulpizio’s arrest and booking into jail. In the attack, Deputy Link lost his life. Deputy Sheriff Howell sustained injuries, as did Deputy First Class Gargano. Since then, both have been discharged from the hospital and are getting better at home.
Julie Sulpizio’s Crime
On August 2, Sulpizio’s neighbor reported that she was harassing and abusing them, so Lake County deputies were called to the residence. After a while, Sulpizio was arrested and placed in jail. The presence of her husband and her two adult children in her home, however, worried the deputies. Master Deputy Link was shot several times as soon as he entered the house to perform a welfare check. Following him to help, the other deputies encountered gunfire as well and had to flee. While trying to save Deputy Link, who was still inside the house, a rescue squad encountered gunfire and was wounded. Authorities reported that Sulpizio’s spouse and two grown-up children were discovered deceased within the house, seemingly due to self-inflicted gunshot wounds.
