25 Ejected During Florida Gators’ Victory Over UCF at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium
During the Florida Gators’ 24-13 win over Central Florida on Saturday night at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium, the University of Florida Police Department reported the ejection of 25 individuals. This figure is higher than the 18 ejected during the Gators’ previous home game against Texas A&M but lower than the 32 ejected in the season opener against Miami.
Breakdown of Ejections and Arrests
Out of the 25 people ejected from the stadium, 11 were confirmed to be University of Florida students. The game, held at the famous Swamp, saw a tense atmosphere both on and off the field as UF Police and stadium security managed the crowd.
Were Any Arrests Made?
Although no immediate arrests were made, four sworn complaints were filed against individuals, including one UF student. These complaints included charges for disorderly conduct (two cases), possession of a fake ID (one case), and assault/battery (one case).
As the Gators continue their season, crowd control remains a priority for law enforcement, ensuring that fans can enjoy the game in a safe and secure environment.
