Suzanne Simpson, 51, has been missing since 10 p.m. on Sunday, having last been seen at an address at the corner of East Olmos Drive and Shook Avenue on the North Side of San Antonio. Her disappearance has prompted an extensive search effort involving local law enforcement agencies and community volunteers.

On Tuesday evening, Simpson’s friends and family were joined by Olmos Park Police, San Antonio Police, Texas Department of Public Safety Troopers, and Texas Rangers in the search for her. Search crews concentrated their efforts near the San Antonio River at the intersection of East Olmos Drive and East Contour Drive, employing various methods such as search dogs, foot patrols, and drones to locate her.

Officials noted that the search operation began in earnest only after the missing person’s report was filed on Monday. “We are just getting started, and we are actively searching the area,” a representative from the Olmos Park Police Department stated.

Simpson is described as approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing around 140 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes. At the time of her disappearance, she was last seen wearing a black, knee-length dress and black high heels, which she may have removed.

Prior to her disappearance, Simpson was at the Argyle in Alamo Heights, raising concerns among her loved ones about her sudden absence. As the search continues, officials are expanding their efforts beyond wooded areas and remain hopeful for her safe return. Community members have also rallied together, offering support and assistance in any way they can.

Authorities encourage anyone with information regarding Simpson’s whereabouts to come forward and assist in the ongoing search efforts. As the investigation unfolds, family and friends remain hopeful that Suzanne Simpson will be found safe.
