Ethel Kennedy hospitalised
Ethel Kennedy, widow of Robert F. Kennedy Sr. suffered a stroke.
Ethel Kennedy, widow of Robert F. Kennedy Sr., has been hospitalised after a stroke attack. She is 96 years old and is mother of ex-president Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Ethel is mother to 11 children. She has several grandchildren and great grand-children.

Ethel’s family expressed that she spent the summer with her children, nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Ethel has been committed to fight for social justice, human rights, and environmental protection. She works at Robert F. Kennedy Center for Justice and Human Rights. She established a non-profit in 1968 after her husband was terminated. Her youngest child was born after her husband’s death and she never remarried. She was awarded with the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2014 by Barack Obama, then President for all the achievements.
Former Massachusetts Congressman Joe Kennedy III informed about his ‘incredible grandmother’, “She is, as you may know, a strong woman who has led a remarkably fulfilling life. She os comfortable, she is getting the best care possible, and she is surrounded by family. We are here looking after her. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers. We ask that you respect our family’s privacy at this time.”
Joe also shared that ” Ethel spent the summer with her children, nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was able to get out on the water, visit the friends, and enjoy many lunches and dinners with the family. It has been a gift to all of us and to her as well. Unfortunately on Thursday morning she suffered stroke in her sleep. She was brought to an area hospital where she is now receiving the treatment.”
Her daughter, Rory Kennedy also confirmed the same.
