Man reported missing found dead in El Dorado County, officials say

A man last seen in Placerville on Saturday was discovered dead in a remote area of El Dorado County, the sheriff’s office reported on Thursday.

Tyson Fiddler was last spotted at approximately 1:50 a.m. at a bar on Mother Lode Drive near Davidson Road. Authorities said detectives located a deceased individual around 2 p.m. Thursday, later identifying him as Fiddler.

The sheriff’s office stated that an investigation is ongoing to determine the circumstances of his death.

Authorities have not released further details regarding the cause of death or whether foul play is suspected. Investigators are actively gathering evidence and speaking to individuals who may have had contact with Fiddler before his disappearance.
