‘100% Trump Supporter’: Man Arrested With Loaded Guns Near Coachella Rally Denies Assassination Intent
An armed man, arrested in what officials have suggested could have been a “third assassination attempt” on former President Donald Trump, has denied the accusations, calling them “bullsh*t” and asserting that he is a Trump supporter. Vem Miller, 49, was detained Saturday afternoon near a Coachella Valley rally after sheriff’s deputies found guns and ammunition in his vehicle at a checkpoint. However, he was released on $5,000 bail, and no federal charges have been filed so far.
In a phone interview with Fox Digital News, Miller explained that he began keeping firearms in his truck after receiving death threats while working on his media project, America Happens Network, which focuses on combating media “censorship.” Although he owns firearms, Miller admitted that he is inexperienced with guns and has never fired one in his life.
Miller also emphasized that his support for Trump stems from his disillusionment with the political system, having grown up as a Democrat before shifting his views. He noted that his experience working in Hollywood pushed him to reevaluate his beliefs, especially as he encountered what he described as a lack of diversity in political thought within the industry. “I came to admire Trump because he represents the fight against censorship and the establishment,” Miller said, reiterating that he had no intentions of violence and that the allegations against him are completely unfounded.
