Ex-fugitive extradited to Miami-Dade to face charge in 2023 Miami Beach club murder
Records revealed that a man who was apprehended a few days after being put to the U.S. Marshals 15 Most Wanted Fugitives list had been extradited to Miami-Dade. The individual had been wanted in connection with a 2022 kidnapping in Canada and a deadly 2023 shooting inside a Miami Beach nightclub. According to records, Deshawn “Thorobread” Davis was arrested on Wednesday on a first-degree murder accusation and taken to a Miami-Dade jail.
In August, 36-year-old Davis was apprehended in California. He had been wanted in connection with the May 7, 2023 shooting at the GALA nightclub in Miami Beach, which left two ladies wounded and one guy dead. Lowell “Lo” Grissom, a Miami rapper and Chris Brown Entertainment talent scout, was killed in the shooting. According to authorities, the murder was the result of a gang-related targeted attack.
On August 1, Davis, a Canadian, was listed as one of the U.S. Marshals’ 15 Most Wanted Fugitives. He had previously been listed on Canada’s 25 Most Wanted list for his role in the abduction of a missing woman in January 2022. Elnaz Hajtamiri was abducted from a relative’s home in Wasaga Beach, Ontario, on the evening of January 12, 2022, and taken to an SUV before going missing. Davis and two other people were charged with the kidnapping.
