Kansas City Police Issue Endangered Silver Advisory for Missing 68-Year-Old Man with Dementia

Kansas City, Mo. — The Kansas City Police Department has issued an Endangered Silver Advisory for Cornell Farrakhan-Bey, a 68-year-old man suffering from dementia who went missing on October 16.

Farrakhan-Bey was last seen near 31st Street and Grand Avenue at 4 p.m. on October 15, the day before he disappeared from his home. He was expected to be picked up for a VA hospital appointment at 10:45 a.m. on October 16, but when his ride arrived, he was not there.

At the time of his disappearance, Farrakhan-Bey was wearing maroon scrubs. Given his condition, police are concerned for his safety and have asked the public for assistance in locating him.
