In a recent interview with MSNBC, Ian Sams, a spokesperson for the Harris campaign, announced that Vice President Kamala Harris will not be appearing on Joe Roganโs podcast.
โWe talked with Rogan and his team about the podcast, unfortunately, it isnโt going to work out right now because of the scheduling of this period of the campaign,โ Sams told MSNBCโs Chris Hayes.
Sams also said that โthe vice president is happy to go anywhere and any place to talk to a broad segment of the country.โ
Last week, it was reported that Vice President Kamala Harris was considering an interview on Joe Roganโs podcast to engage more male voters. The publication indicated that officials from Harrisโs campaign had discussions with Roganโs team earlier this week, but an official appearance had not been confirmed. According to Politico, former President Donald Trump is scheduled to participate in an interview this Friday on โThe Joe Rogan Experience,โ a podcast that has over 14 million followers on Spotify. This will mark Trumpโs first appearance on Roganโs show, which has drawn criticism in recent years for its discussions on public health and various controversial topics.
