Woman Recovering After Early Morning Shooting Inside Kendall Home; Suspect in Custody

A woman is in recovery after being found with gunshot wounds early Sunday morning inside a home in Kendall, Miami-Dade Police reported. Officers arrived at the residence, located in the 6200 block of Southwest 109th Avenue, just after 3:30 a.m. following reports of a shooting.

Upon arrival, police discovered the woman suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Miami-Dade Fire Rescue quickly transported her to a nearby hospital, where she is currently receiving treatment. Authorities confirmed that she is expected to survive.

Shortly after the incident, Hialeah Police received a call from a man who claimed involvement in a shooting in Kendall. Investigators later confirmed his connection to the shooting, though details surrounding his motive and the circumstances remain under investigation.
