Authorities have identified the young man killed in a boating accident near North Key Largo that also injured two others on Saturday. The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) announced Sunday that crews recovered the body of 21-year-old Eytan M. Genoune from Boynton Beach, who was found in the water after the incident.

The accident occurred around 10:26 a.m. near the Card Sound Bridge, close to Pumpkin Key. Genoune was aboard a 34-foot Nor-Tech vessel with two other individuals when a sudden turn ejected all three occupants into the water. Miami-Dade Fire Rescue teams responded swiftly to the emergency call, dispatching air rescue and dive teams to the scene.

FWC reported that Genoune was found dead in the water, while the other two occupants were rescued and taken to a nearby hospital. Their identities and conditions remain undisclosed.
