Soon-to-be border czar Tom Homan doesn’t care for criticism of Trump’s massive deportation plan

On Monday, Tom Homan, who will serve as the next border czar during President-elect Donald Trump’s second term, reaffirmed the Republican leader’s border policies and intentions for mass deportations. The former acting director of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) also said he didn’t give a damn about what people thought of him, defending the planned decision to deport millions of migrants from the United States in an effort to drastically reduce the number of undocumented presences in the nation. He declared, “I don’t care what people think of me,” when he appeared on Fox & Friends on Fox News.

After Trump declared late Sunday that “the former ICE Director, and stalwart on Border Control, Tom Homan, will be joining the Trump Administration, in charge of our Nation’s Borders (‘The Border Czar’), including, but not limited to, the Southern Border, the Northern Border, all Maritime, and Aviation Security,” his passionate comments came just hours later. “There is nobody better at policing and controlling our Borders,” Trump continued on Truth Social, referring to Homan as an early supporter of the president-elect’s “zero tolerance” policy. Similarly, Tom Homan will oversee the deportation of all illegal aliens to their home countries. Tom deserves congratulations.

Best wishes to Tom. He will perform an excellent and long-awaited work, I am sure of it. Homan retaliated against the criticism of Trump’s border policy on Monday, continuing his tirade against the left. “To be honest, I don’t give a damn about what people think of me, particularly those on the left,” he stated on Fox News. People’s thoughts about illegal immigration don’t matter to me. These other negative outcomes occur when you create a crisis this size. We need that to protect the border.
