Authorities are urging the public to remain vigilant in efforts to locate the young child, who has not been seen since he was last spotted wearing a maroon shirt, maroon sweatpants, and gray shoes.

Waylon Childs is described as 3 feet tall, weighing approximately 30 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. The alert emphasizes the need to “check water,” suggesting authorities are concerned about possible hazards in the nearby area, such as ponds, lakes, or other bodies of water that might attract a young child.
