Shooting in North Phoenix Leaves One Dead; Investigation Ongoing

PHOENIX — A shooting in north Phoenix on Wednesday afternoon resulted in one man’s death. The incident occurred around 3 p.m. on November 27, near 21st Avenue and Thunderbird Road.

According to Phoenix Police, officers responded to a report of a fight between roommates and found one man with a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. The man’s identity has not been released.

A second man found at the scene was detained for questioning. Police processed the scene and conducted an interview with the detained individual. He was later released, pending further investigation.

Phoenix Police have stated that the case will be submitted to the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office for further review. The investigation is ongoing.
