Breaking News: 2 Dead in Shocking East Columbus Shooting – What You Need to Know

Tuesday night, there was a shooting on Columbus’ east side that left two individuals dead. According to a Columbus police dispatcher, officers were called to a shooting in the 1200 block of Carolwood Avenue at around 9:46 p.m.

Officers discovered 65-year-old Della Walker inside the scene with several gunshot wounds. Additionally, they discovered 75-year-old Daryl Walker with a single gunshot wound.

At 10 p.m., Daryl Walker, who the police have identified as a suspect in a murder-suicide case, was declared dead at the site.

Following her transfer to a nearby hospital, Della Walker passed away from her wounds at 10:26 p.m. Anyone with information was requested to call Columbus police’s homicide unit at 614-645-4730.
