Shocking Twist: Friend of Alexander Brothers Surrenders to Police in Miami Beach Gang Rape Case
Ohad Fisherman, a close associate of the Alexander brothers, is accused of participating in the assault of a 25-year-old woman during a New Year’s Eve party on Miami Beach in 2016, alongside Alon and Oren.
A family friend of the Alexander brothers, the real estate moguls who are facing accusations of sex trafficking and sexually assaulting several women across South Florida and New York, surrendered to authorities on Wednesday. He is set to face charges related to his involvement in the alleged gang rape of a woman in Miami Beach. The charges stem from an incident in which he is accused of participating in the assault, alongside the Alexander brothers, who are already under investigation for their involvement in similar crimes.
Twins Oren and Alon Alexander, both prominent figures in the luxury real estate market, were arrested earlier this month and initially placed in Miami-Dade County jail. Oren, a luxury real estate agent, was among those taken into custody, while his brother Alon, also a key player in the industry, faced similar charges. Meanwhile, their brother Tal Alexander, who also works in the ultraluxury real estate sector, was arrested separately and transferred into federal custody, facing federal charges related to the ongoing investigations.
Ohad Fisherman, a real estate broker born in Israel and a friend of the Alexander brothers, has been accused of participating in the assault of a 25-year-old woman at a New Year’s Eve party on Miami Beach in 2016. Fisherman, who was on his honeymoon in Japan at the time the charges were brought against him, coordinated with his attorney to return to the United States. His lawyer reached an agreement with prosecutors that allowed him to fly back on Tuesday, with plans for him to surrender to authorities on Wednesday.
Upon his arrival at the Miami-Dade County Courthouse, Fisherman was seen walking hand-in-hand with a woman, who is believed to be his wife. As he entered the courthouse, reporters and photographers attempted to question him about the serious allegations, but his attorney informed them that Fisherman would not be making any statements.
Miami-Dade State Attorney Katherine Fernandez Rundle referred to the events of 2016 as a “gang rape” during a recent statement. According to the victim, she was in New York at the time when she met Alon Alexander. Alon invited her to a barbecue at his apartment on the fourth floor of the Mei building on Collins Avenue in Miami. However, when the victim arrived, she discovered that there was no barbecue as promised. Instead, she found that the only people present were Alon, his twin brother Oren, and Ohad Fisherman, as described in the arrest warrants.
The victim said the brothers argued over who was going to rape her first as she was held down by Fisherman and raped by the twins, Fernandez Rundle said.
Afterwards, she was forced to have sex with Fisherman, then told to take a shower and not tell anyone about what happened as she was allowed to leave, Fernandez Rundle said.
In court on Wednesday, a judge set Ohad Fisherman’s bond at $25,000 and imposed house arrest as part of the conditions for his release. The judge also warned that if Fisherman fails to appear for future court hearings, his family could be held financially responsible for up to $260,000. Fisherman’s defense attorney, Jeffrey Sloman, emphasized that his client is eager to resolve the case and clear his name. After the court session, Fisherman was taken into custody, where he will undergo the booking process, including having his mugshot taken, before being released.
