Brittany Furlan Reveals Tommy Lee’s Surprising Grooming Secret: ‘He’s Super Neat but Only Showers Weekly

Brittany Furlan offered fans a glimpse into her husband Tommy Lee’s unexpected grooming habits during her appearance on Kaitlyn Bristowe’s Off the Vine podcast on Wednesday, December 18. While discussing her marriage with the Mötley Crüe drummer, Furlan revealed that Lee, despite being a rock musician, is surprisingly tidy — though not big on traditional hygiene routines.

“My husband’s very neat, which people wouldn’t expect from someone who’s a musician,” said Furlan, 38. “They would expect him to be a f—ing nightmare, like, dirty. He doesn’t shower a lot, but he’s very neat.”

Furlan explained that Lee, 62, attributes his infrequent showering habits to his upbringing in Athens, Greece, where daily bathing wasn’t a cultural priority. “He said … that’s a thing in Europe. You don’t need to shower every day,” she noted. “They would just do the white washcloth if they felt like they were getting a little funky. My husband showers, like, once a week.”

Instead of daily showers, Lee often opts for what Furlan described as a “bird bath,” using soap, a washcloth, and a sink to freshen up.

While Lee is comfortable with his minimalist approach, Furlan admitted she prefers a more frequent routine. “This hair is so thick, so I wash the hair, like, once a week,” she shared, adding, “And then I shower every night.”

Despite their contrasting grooming styles, Furlan and Lee’s relationship remains strong. The couple, who married in 2019, often share quirky insights into their lives, endearing them to fans with their humor and openness.
