How to Submit the FAFSA Form?

• Create FSA ID: Both students and parents must obtain an FSA ID to function as a digital signature and access the Federal Student Ed website.
• Collect the required paperwork. Collect all the necessary documents, including your social security number, most recent federal income tax return, W-2s, non-taxable income records, and bank statements.
• Get the FAFSA form online: Visit Studentaid.gov to access the FAFSA form. If necessary, you may also request a paper version.
• Enter your personal information. Please provide your name, date of birth, and social security number.
• Enter your financial information: If qualified, use IRS data-reproducing technology to input your tax information immediately.
• List your schools: Enter the school code for each college you apply to, ensuring they receive your FAFSA information.
• Determine the dependent position. Answer the questions to discover whether you are a dependent or independent student. Dependent students will need parental information.
• Provide parental details: Dependent students must submit their parents’ financial information. Parents without social security numbers may participate by putting zero.
