Breezy conditions, occasional showers across South Florida with highs in the upper 70s

The weather pattern for Sunday will be fairly similar to that of Saturday, with persistent gusty conditions and sporadic, swift showers coming in from the Atlantic. A partly cloudy sky with highs in the upper 70s is what you should expect. More of the same is expected on Monday, with highs of about 80 degrees and intermittent, windy showers. Winds could reach 30 mph. Tuesday through Wednesday will see additional intermittent showers caused by the lingering sea breeze from the east, but the wind will start to lighten for the remainder of the week. The low 80s will continue to be the high temperature.

As our next cold front passes across the region on Thursday, there will be changes into the weekend. Spotty showers are expected to come in ahead of the front during the day on Thursday, which will be the last day in the 80s. By Friday morning, the front will move out of South Florida, bringing with it cooler and drier weather. Temperatures will drop back into the 50s starting Friday night, making the chill behind the front truly noticeable. As temperatures drop into the low 50s along the coast and the 40s in some inland areas, Sunday morning is predicted to be significantly colder.
