Horror in Brooklyn: Mother Fatally Stabbed, Teen Son Brutally Attacked – Police on the Hunt for the Killer

CARNARSIE, Brooklyn (WABC) — Authorities are on the hunt for the suspect behind a brutal attack in Canarsie, Brooklyn, that left a mother dead and her teenage son injured.

The incident occurred Sunday on East 81st Street. According to police, the 47-year-old mother was fatally stabbed in the neck. She was rushed to the hospital but was pronounced dead upon arrival.

Her 15-year-old son suffered a slash wound to his hand and is currently in stable condition, police reported.

Investigators have classified the incident as domestic violence and believe the attacker may be a relative of the victims. The NYPD continues to investigate as they work to apprehend the suspect.
