Police are looking into a reported gunfight and attempted robbery that occurred in Miami on Tuesday. It took place in the revitalized Overtown neighborhood at NE 14th Street and NE Miami Court, directly east of Miami Avenue, encircled by brand-new high-rise apartment complexes and hip shops. A man called the police to tell that three males had approached him and demanded his jewelry, according to the police. The victim returned fire after they fired multiple shots at him.

According to police, there were no reported injuries. As the sun dawned, Miami police processed the crime scene, which included a black Mercedes. The security cameras in the vicinity were supposed to help police, but the building manager claimed NBC6 that his cameras saw nothing because their views were obscured by the trees.
