Bill Clinton Discharged – Bill Clinton Released from Hospital After Flu Treatment
Former President Bill Clinton has been discharged from MedStar Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, D.C., following a brief hospitalization due to flu-related symptoms. The 78-year-old former president was admitted on December 23, 2024, after experiencing a fever, prompting medical evaluation and monitoring.
In 2004, aged 58, he was diagnosed with severe signs of coronary artery disease and underwent a quadruple bypass surgery. In 2014, he suffered another health scare that saw his right coronary artery open after complaining of chest pains.
He still continues to be engaged in community work after leaving the white house, he has founded what has come to be called the Clinton Foundation through which he formed the American Heart Association and came up with the Alliance for a Healthier Generation.
It was following his second operation, the former head of state, who was famous for his passion for greasy food, decided to turn vegan. He said in a Politico interview in 2016, “I wouldn’t be alive today if I wasn’t a vegan.” It’s great.”
Clinton was also busy throughout the year campaigning for the presidency as he toured the country to support the candidacy of Vice-President Kamala Harris.
Last month, he released his latest book, Citizen: Administration and Regeneration: My Life after the White House.
Bill Clinton, the former President of America, has been released from a healthcare facility after he was tested for the flu disease, according to the media on Tuesday.

Clinton was admitted at the Georgetown University Medical Centre in Washington DC on Monday evening after experiencing a fever and was therefore admitted for tests and observations.
The 78-year-old was last admitted to the hospital in 2021 for six days in California due to an infection that extended to the blood.
Previous Health Challenges
Since leaving office nearly 25 years ago, Clinton has faced various health issues. In addition to his heart surgeries and previous hospitalizations, he has adopted a vegan diet following his heart procedures to improve his overall health.
Clinton’s active lifestyle has continued despite these challenges; he has been involved in political campaigns and recently released a new book titled “Citizen: My Life After the White House,” which reflects on his experiences post-presidency.
