FORT LAUDERDALE – A man has been charged with second-degree murder after the body of a 73-year-old man was discovered inside a Fort Lauderdale business.

The investigation began on December 23 when Fort Lauderdale Police conducted a well-being check at a business in the 6200 block of North Federal Highway. Inside, officers found the body of D’Amore, who had been missing for several days.

Homicide detectives uncovered surveillance footage showing D’Amore entering the business on December 20 around 10 p.m. with another individual. Approximately two and a half hours later, the unidentified person was seen leaving the premises carrying several bags—without D’Amore.

On Thursday, December 26, authorities identified the suspect as 56-year-old Nenad Milosevic. He now faces charges of second-degree murder as detectives continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
