Teen Shoots Rival’s Show Goat in Shocking Revenge for Poisoning – Texas Horror Unfolds

A high school student from Texas was arrested and charged with cruelty to animals when she was caught poisoning and killing a goat, which was intended for her rival’s competition show.

Prosecutors say that Aubrey Vanlandingham, a seventeen-year-old girl, used a drench gun in the process of administering toxins of pesticide to the goat named Willie at the barn at Vista Ridge High School in Cedar Park in October.

In an arrest affidavit that various news outlets accessed, Vanlandingham stated that they intentionally poisoned the animal, and this was evident from CCTV footage.

Documents show that the goat died approximately 21 hours after the event, which involved convulsion and signs of respiratory distress.

An autopsy revealed the cause of death by organophosphate poisoning due to the ingestion of phosmet, a pesticide that is used for external parasites in animals, CBS Austin informed.

Vanlandingham told police that she purposely fed the goat poison because she thought the owner of the goat was a cheater’, as indicated in the affidavit. The lady was quoted as having said that it was the second time she had tried to poison the goat.

It was discovered that an investigation of her history conducted on her phone found that she had entered searches such as ‘how much bleach to kill an animal’ and ‘poisoning pets, things you should know’ as per the details of the report from People. She also allegedly browsed through the internet by entering “how to delete search history”.

In case Vanlandingham is convicted of cruelty to livestock animals, he risks getting a prison term of up to two years.

The mother of the 15-year-old girl whose goat was killed said her family wanted “justice” and wished that if Vanlandingham was convicted, he would be jailed.
