Alert! Windy morning in Phoenix area brings cooler temps, low chance for rain
For your Wednesday, expect a windy and breezy day throughout the state of Arizona. Overnight Tuesday, Phoenix had a lot of wind, with gusts between 30 and 40 mph.
The wind is expected to persist today, particularly in Western Arizona, where gusts of 50 to 60 mph are possible. There will also be cooler temps soon! On Wednesday, Phoenix’s highs will fall to the 60s, which is more in line with our typical high for this season.
Although there aren’t many chances of rain, we will keep an eye out for them throughout the state. The same is true for snow; in our mountain areas, only a couple to a few inches are anticipated.
Thursday’s chances of rain are decreasing, but the cold air will persist! For the next few days, Phoenix’s highs stay in the 60s.
This is a significant swing, but the temperature is typical for this time of year, with our normal high being in the mid-60s.
