West Palm Beach Commissioner Announces Early Bid: Get More Updates

A municipal commissioner has entered the mayoral campaign two years early. According to a press release, Christina Lambert declared her campaign for mayor of West Palm Beach on Tuesday. Over 140 leaders from the local chamber of commerce, business community, non-profits, church community members, education leaders, women’s and LGBTQ+ organizations, political officials, and West Palm Beach citizens attended.

“For the past seven years, I have had the pleasure and privilege of serving West Palm Beach as City Commissioner. When I think about helping my community, I base it on the fact that I have made it my life’s purpose to serve people,” Lambert explained.

Lambert received endorsements from Mayor Keith James, the West Palm Beach Association of Firefighters, and the Fraternal Police of West Palm Beach as part of her launch.”Christina Lambert is the most outstanding candidate to be West Palm Beach’s next mayor. Like me, she is a leader who came from the municipal commission, not from the outside. Mayor James stated, “She has taken the time to understand our issues, process, and future vision.”Lambert is the first to file for the Mayor’s seat. The next mayoral election is not until March 2027. Lambert serves as the city commissioner for District 5, according to the city’s website. She has held the office since being elected in 2018.
