‘Bro I can’t let this slide’: The chilling warning of troubled teenage killer who murdered schoolgirl
In a chilling and tragic incident, 18-year-old Hassan Sentamu brutally murdered 15-year-old Elianne Andam outside a shopping center in Croydon.
Days before the crime, Sentamu, who had been studying sports science at Croydon College, wrote unsettling words, describing a dark side to his personality: “Whenever you see me it’s never really me, it’s a persona I put on. The real me is evil, dark, and miserable.” These ominous words would soon come to life in a horrific attack on Elianne, a talented schoolgirl with a bright future.
The events unfolded when Elianne, in an attempt to stand up for her friend, grabbed a plastic bag from Sentamu’s hand. This seemingly innocent act ignited a violent confrontation, leading Sentamu to reveal a hidden large kitchen knife under his hoodie. Despite having promised to meet his ex-girlfriend to return her teddy bear, Sentamu arrived empty-handed, his emotions seething beneath the surface.
In a haunting Snapchat video taken just before the fatal attack, Elianne is seen smiling at the camera, unaware of the impending danger. She playfully snatches back the bag from her friend, but her expression swiftly changes to one of “abject terror” as Sentamu plunged the knife into her neck. The unprovoked attack left her with no chance to survive, and her life was tragically cut short.
