The identities of the six individuals involved in a tragic shooting early Sunday morning in Boynton Beach have been made public. The violent incident resulted in one fatality, while two other victims remain hospitalized, recovering from their injuries. Authorities have now disclosed the names of those affected by the shooting, which has left the community in shock.
The Boynton Beach Police Department (BBPD) swiftly responded to several reports of a shooting that occurred at approximately 1:40 a.m. on Sunday. The incident took place in the 500 block of NE 2nd Street, prompting immediate law enforcement action to investigate the scene and address the situation.
At the scene, law enforcement discovered five individuals who had been shot. According to the Boynton Beach Police Department (BBPD), a sixth victim, who had also been injured in the shooting, managed to transport himself to a nearby emergency center for medical attention.
The Boynton Beach Police Department has released the names of the six victims involved in the shooting incident. Tragically, 31-year-old Davon Wood from Fort Lauderdale was the sole fatality. Three other victims are currently receiving medical care, with 36-year-old James Laurent from Lake Worth and 34-year-old Josue Jean from Boynton Beach both listed in stable condition at the hospital. Meanwhile, three individuals have been discharged after treatment: 38-year-old Keith Clemons from Port St. Lucie, 24-year-old Derrick Dorsonne from Delray Beach, and 32-year-old Jephte Matilus, also from Delray Beach.
