North Dakota Snowmobile Accident Sends Rider to Hospital with Serious Injuries
Following a snowmobile accident on Thursday afternoon, a Minot male, age 21, sustained severe injuries. At approximately 3:30 p.m., the rider was heading north in the west ditch close to Highway 83 and 21st Street NW. The snowmobile struck an embankment and jumped off the road before colliding, according to the North Dakota Highway Patrol. Emergency personnel arrived to the location, including the Garrison-Max Ambulance District and the McLean County Sheriff’s Office. Helmet-wearing, the rider was taken by EMS to Trinity Hospital.
The 2015 Polaris 700 RMK snowmobile was recognized by the authorities. According to officials, no charges have been brought against anyone as of yet, and the collision is being investigated.
