Shock in Hollywood: Esta TerBlanche’s Cause of Death Revealed After Passing
The bleeding was caused by a blunt force head injury, most likely from a fall at ground level, and the death has been classified as an accident.
The cause of death for actress Esta TerBlanche, best known for her role on All My Children, has been officially revealed. TerBlanche, who tragically passed away last summer at the age of 51, died from an intracranial hemorrhage. According to online records from the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner, the hemorrhage was caused by blunt force trauma from a traumatic head injury. This head injury is listed as the secondary cause of death, with the hemorrhage being the primary factor.
The medical examiner has officially classified the manner of death as accidental. In a press release, it was stated that the head injury sustained by Esta TerBlanche was most likely the result of a fall from ground level. This conclusion was drawn based on the nature of the injury and the circumstances surrounding her death.
An intracranial hemorrhage, commonly referred to as a “brain bleed,” is a type of stroke that happens when a blood vessel in the brain ruptures or leaks. This causes blood to collect between the brain and the skull, leading to a dangerous buildup of pressure inside the brain. As a result, the brain is deprived of essential oxygen, which can cause significant damage to brain tissue. According to Cleveland Clinic, this condition can have serious consequences depending on its severity and location within the brain.
Falls and traumatic injuries are among the most common causes of intracranial hemorrhage, as stated by Cleveland Clinic. Additionally, people with uncontrolled high blood pressure are at a higher risk of developing this condition, which can lead to severe complications.
