Fort Lauderdale Police Investigate Early Sunday Shooting

Fort Lauderdale, Authorities are investigating a shooting that occurred early Sunday morning in Fort Lauderdale, leaving two men injured.

According to the Fort Lauderdale Police Department, officers responded to a shot-spotter alert indicating possible gunfire near Broward Boulevard and South Federal Highway around 4 a.m. When officers arrived, they discovered evidence of a shooting but found no victims at the scene.

Shortly after, two men arrived at Broward Health Medical Center with injuries consistent with gunshot wounds. Police have not yet confirmed whether the victims were involved in the incident on Broward Boulevard.

Investigators are currently working to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting. No suspects have been identified, and authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward.
