A new weekend show on Fox News Channel will be hosted by Lara Trump, the president’s daughter-in-law. “My View with Lara Trump,” her one-hour program, will premiere on Saturday nights at 9 p.m., Fox said Wednesday. As the nation ushers in a new era of realism, Fox stated in its announcement that Trump’s show “will focus on the return of common sense to all corners of American life.” Lara Trump is a well-known person in Republican politics. She is the wife of Eric Trump, Donald Trump’s third son. They have two kids together and were married in Mar-a-Lago, Florida, in 2014.

Lara Trump has previously worked for Fox News. She thought about competing for a US Senate seat from her native state of North Carolina after Trump lost to Democrat Joe Biden in 2020, but she finally decided against it. In 2021 and 2022, she started commentating for Fox News. Lara Trump, a TV-ready champion in charge of fundraising, voter outreach, and the party’s “election integrity” project, was appointed co-chair of the Republican National Committee by Donald Trump when he stepped up his 2024 campaign. After the election, she resigned from the RNC and took her name off the list of candidates to succeed Trump’s nominee for secretary of state, Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla.

Lara has actively supported the Make America Great Again (MAGA) movement in addition to her job in the Trump family. In order to rally Republican women to support her father-in-law’s presidential campaign, she led the Trump-Pence Women’s Empowerment Tour in 2016. Lara Trump owns her own line of sportswear and is an avid fitness enthusiast. She has also released a few songs and experimented with a secondary career as a vocalist. Carolina, the daughter, is named after her home state.
