Conservative Writer Who Accused Drag Queens of ‘Grooming’ Is Arrested on Child Molestation Charges
Charges of assaulting a kid under the age of twelve led to the arrest of a conservative writer who has contributed to magazines like The Federalist and The Daily Wire. On January 28, Aaron Craig Gleason was arrested in Okaloosa County, Florida, and he posted $75,000 bail. The 39-year-old had penned an excellent review of the anti-sex trafficking movie Sound of Freedom, which he described as a “call to action.” In 2023, he wrote for The Federalist, “It’s about the children — lost, invisible children who suffer in the depths of hell every single day.” “True victims suffer in actual cages and chains while the wealthy and powerful attempt to brainwash us with critical race theory and other ideological moralisms.”
On Thursday, the Daily Dot revealed that Gleason has been coaching soccer and teaching the Bible at a Rocky Bayou Christian School. According to a school email sent to parents, “I regret to inform you that one of our Middle School teachers was arrested by local law enforcement officers today.” “For two weeks, the instructor has been off campus on paid administrative leave.” There was no specific mention of Gleason in the correspondence. Gleason said that Pride marchers, some of whom were dressed in drag, were “grooming” children in June 2023 after quoting a video of the event. “We’re here, we’re queer, we’re not going shopping,” the marchers chanted simultaneously. “We’re here, we’re queer, we’re coming for,” someone off camera says during one of the chants for your children.”
Gleason wrote, “They’re just coming for our kids, no grooming going on here.” Although his author page is still visible on The Wayback Machine, Gleason wrote at least two pieces for The Daily Wire, which has since taken it down. As of this writing, his author page on The Federalist is still active.
