Man Dies After Shooting in Lighthouse Point Neighborhood
Lighthouse Point, FL – A man was fatally shot during a domestic disturbance on Wednesday evening in a Lighthouse Point neighborhood, officials confirmed.
According to the Broward Sheriff’s Office (BSO), officers from the Lighthouse Point Police Department responded to reports of a domestic dispute shortly after 5 p.m. in the 2600 block of Northeast 49th Street. Upon arrival, they discovered a man suffering from gunshot wounds.

Paramedics provided immediate medical attention and transported the victim to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. Authorities have not yet released his identity.
A cellphone video from the scene captured emergency responders pulling the wounded man on a gurney while officers detained a woman and placed her in a police cruiser. However, officials have not confirmed her involvement in the shooting.
