A heated argument escalated into a shooting at a Miramar home on Wednesday morning, leaving one person hospitalized and another in police custody, authorities said.
According to Miramar Police, officers responded to reports of a shooting at a residence in the 6800 block of 27th Court around 9:15 a.m. Upon arrival, they discovered a male victim with multiple gunshot wounds.
Miramar Fire Rescue transported the victim to a local hospital, where he remained conscious, police confirmed. Investigators believe the shooting stemmed from a dispute between two individuals.
A suspect has been detained, though the identities of both the victim and the suspect have not been released. The investigation remains ongoing.
