Florida Woman Caught Running Illegal Botox Clinic – What Police Found Will Shock You!
Hallandale Beach, FL – A Hallandale Beach woman has been arrested for allegedly performing Botox injections without a medical license, police say.
Victoria Bronnikova, 53, was taken into custody after an undercover operation revealed that she was offering cosmetic procedures illegally. Authorities say she had been advertising her services on social media under the name “Dr. Victoria,” claiming to have years of experience in the beauty industry. However, she did not have the necessary medical credentials to legally perform Botox treatments in Florida.
Undercover Sting Leads to Arrest
Hallandale Beach police launched an investigation after receiving reports of an unlicensed practitioner operating out of an office complex on East Hallandale Beach Boulevard. An undercover detective scheduled a consultation with Bronnikova, during which she offered Botox injections for $295—despite not having a valid prescription for the substance.
At the time of the sting, another client was receiving treatment, officials said. Shortly after, police arrested Bronnikova and charged her with practicing medicine without a license. She was later released on bond but declined to comment on the charges.
A Growing Problem in South Florida
This isn’t the first case of unlicensed Botox procedures in the area. Last year, two women were arrested in Miami for similar offenses, including a woman caught running an illegal Botox clinic at a shopping mall.
Authorities warn that receiving cosmetic treatments from unlicensed individuals can be dangerous. Botox is a medical procedure that requires proper training to prevent complications like infections, nerve damage, or facial disfigurement.
How to Stay Safe
If you’re considering Botox or any cosmetic procedure, officials recommend checking the practitioner’s credentials through the Florida Department of Health’s online verification system. Only licensed professionals can legally administer Botox, ensuring both safety and compliance with medical regulations.
Police are urging anyone who may have received treatments from Bronnikova to come forward as the investigation continues.
