New York Man Arrested for Dating and Scamming Women

Robert Giuliano, a New York man with a history of financial deception, has been arrested again—this time for scamming women he dated. Giuliano, 48, is no stranger to the criminal justice system. More than a decade ago, he was convicted of operating a fraudulent travel business that promised luxury accommodations and exclusive event tickets but left customers with nothing. Back in 2014, Giuliano was convicted in the Manhattan Supreme Court for grand larceny, identity theft, and other fraud-related charges. Prosecutors revealed that between 2008 and 2012, he had scammed travelers across multiple states using a fake business called “Giuliano Group Concierge.” Victims paid thousands for five-star experiences they never received.

Fake Business, Fake Image
Despite his criminal past, Giuliano has continued to present himself as a successful businessman. His LinkedIn profile lists him as the Founder, President, and CEO of the “Giuliano Group,” though no evidence of a legitimate business exists. He also claims to hold a bachelor’s degree from the University of Miami. The poorly written description on his profile suggests an attempt to appear credible while failing to conceal his deception. It reads: “My experience is in creating maximum exposure for my clients. My objective is too launch a website in May to enhance my client’s exposure to the next level using video format with an indepth look so consumers can get to know the product inside and out. I want to create awareness for my clients worldwide, in every corner of the globe.” The glaring spelling errors and lack of coherence raise questions about how anyone could have taken him seriously in the first place.
New Scam Targeting Women
Giuliano’s latest arrest stems from a different kind of scheme—one involving personal relationships. Authorities say he preyed on women he met through dating platforms, earning their trust before swindling them out of money. Details of how much he stole and how many victims were involved remain unclear, but given his past, investigators suspect multiple women were affected. A Bronx Supreme Court judge released Giuliano on January 2, 2025, but he is due back in court next month.

Giuliano’s pattern of fraud suggests he won’t stop unless held accountable. His past crimes demonstrate his ability to manipulate and deceive, making it crucial for victims to report their experiences. With his court date approaching, officials hope justice will finally catch up with this career scammer.
