On Friday morning, a tragic shooting occurred at a residence on Twin Lakes Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale, resulting in one fatality and two individuals sustaining critical injuries. Authorities responded to reports of gunfire around 9:45 a.m. in the 4500 block of Twin Lakes Boulevard.

Upon arrival, officers discovered two individuals with gunshot wounds outside the home and another person injured inside. One victim was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other two were transported to a local hospital in critical condition. A neighbor, Tomas Marrero, reported hearing multiple gunshots, stating, “Like four shots then a few minutes later, two more.”

Residents expressed shock and concern over the incident. A long-time neighbor mentioned that a family resided in the home but noted limited interaction with them. Another neighbor identified one of the hospitalized victims as Ryan Kruse, a man in his early 20s who lived at the residence.
