In November 2024, while assisting with a disabled motorcycle on Southern Boulevard in Loxahatchee, Florida, the three deputies were tragically struck and killed by an SUV that veered off the road.

President Trump, who attended their memorial service last year, described the incident as a “terrible tragedy” that profoundly impacted the Palm Beach community.
